At its most basic Obsidian is a hard, dark, glasslike volcanic rock

But since we’re anything but basic, here’s what obsidian means to us and why we chose it as our name…

Obsidian is known to be a strong, protective stone that shields against negativity and provides a grounding effect.

It absorbs negative energy from the environment and brings clarity to the mind, clearing confusion.

As we all know, the beauty industry can be a tough world to be a part of, and with that, our name is our guide to always create a positive environment for all types of stylists to thrive.
